Tea Case or Basket
The hand made Scandinavian Tea Case or Tea Basket has been a household mainstay in Holland and Denmark
for many decades, and now you can own one of these beautiful and functional items.
The unique aspect of this cosy is that it completely encloses your tea pot (or any other similar sized item that you want to keep hot).
It has a chrome clasp and handle that secures the case closed and allows you to carry it safely.
The case is hand sewn and assembled with care and attention to detail.
The exterior fabric is a high quality material that is not only beautiful but also durable.
The interior is a satin type lining color coordinated with the exterior and compatible with liquid tea so the inevitable spills will be hidden.
The tea casey will enclose a large tea pot and even a Bodum coffee pot with plunger.
The finished outside dimensions are approximately 13" high by 14" wide by 8" thick.
The components for the tea case are imported from Denmark and then sewn and assembled in Canada.
